Max Silverman is currently a coxswain for Bucknell Men’s Crew. He is currently a junior and studies Civil Engineering. Max is from Brookline, Massachusetts, and was a coxswain for Brookline High School for all four years of high school. He coxed several boats at the head of the charles including eights and fours. In addition, he coxed several boats at the Northeast Youth Regional Championships. In his freshman year at Bucknell, he won gold medals at the Mid Atlantic Rowing Conference Championship, the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta, and the Murphy Cup. Max completed his freshman year with a 10th place finish at the American Collegiate Rowing Association National Championship Regatta. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he was unable to race during his sophomore year.

Max is the son of Stephen Silverman and Barbara Sisson, and older Brother to Charles Silverman who is a huge goofball. He thanks his family and friends for their unconditional love and support.
