It’s been a great week for Bison alumni rowing!
Kyle Lafferty ’10 finished first in the Men’s Lightweight Pair at the USRowing Senior World Championship Trials (West Windsor, NJ, results). Kyle and his partner will represent the United States in the 2011 World Championships. He will begin racing in Bled, Slovenia starting August 28th. We wish Kyle the best of luck representing the U.S. (and Bucknell!) and we will be sure to keep you posted on his progress.
Several Bucknellians are competing at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta held in St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada this week. Andy McLaughlin ‘12 is competing for New York Athletic Club in the U23 Lightweight Four, Senior Mens Eight, and the Senior Men’s Eight dash. Andrew Neils ’08 is competing in the Lightweight Men’s Double and the Senior Lightweight Men’s Quad. Assistant Coach Al Monte who is coaching the Vesper heavyweight men out of Philadelphia will be sending his top eight to compete. Best of luck to all competitors!
