November 2003: The goal for this campaign is to develop a solid financial foundation for the men's rowing program in order to support the ongoing operations of the team. This foundation is critical to the team's future existence at Bucknell due to the self-sustaining nature of this athletic program. With the generous gifts of alumni, parents, and friends of Bucknell Men's Crew, Bucknellians can continue to row for the Orange and the Blue. This is our opportunity to "own the dream" of a successful, long-lasting rowing tradition at Bucknell.
November 2006: The Own the Dream fundraising campaign successfully raised $285,000 over 3 years to support the needs and operation of the team, including providing the means to hire a new head coach, Paul Bugenhagen. This fundraising campaign was successfully concluded in November 2006 as a new campaign begins which is aimed at increasing alumni giving rates.
