Bio
I spent the first three years of my high school career rowing at Community Rowing Inc., right outside of Boston. My experience and knowledge gained at CRI helped me develop both mentally and physically into the athlete and student that I am today. During my junior year, I was able to earn myself a spot as an alternate for the Lightweight Men’s 8+ which ended up getting fourth place at youth nationals. For my senior year, I decided to stop rowing and spend the school year training for the 2017 Providence Marathon with the Dreamfar High School Marathon Team. Despite convincing myself I was done with sports after accomplishing this feat, my love for rowing drove me to join the Bucknell Men’s Crew Team and give myself a chance to be back on the water once again.

I was born in the city of Boston and have lived in the suburbs surrounding it ever since. As the first generation in my Russian family to be born in the United States, I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to attend such a prestigious university and have the opportunity to row. Some of my hobbies include hiking, cliff jumping, swimming, driving, and playing with my cat.
