Hello, I’m Aaron. I am from Lancaster, PA. I did competitive gymnastics for nine years, but started basic practices at age two. I’m going to answer some common questions I frequently get asked. No, gymnastics isn’t only for girls. Yes, I can do a flip. No, I will not do one now. Yes, I can do an iron cross. No, I can’t do one now because there are no rings nearby. My favorite event is floor. The most challenging skill I can do is a triple twisting double back flip into the foam pit. During my 16 years in gymnastics, I won the state championships twice, fell on my face countless times, learned a ton of cool skills, coached the next generation of male gymnasts, and was captain of the team for my last two years. This is my first year rowing, so I don’t know much about the sport, but am having a great time learning.
